Hotel 45 Beach Resort

The food is consistently delicious, and my family, including the kids, truly enjoys it. While the restaurant's ambiance is somewhat basic, it's the quality of the food that keeps us coming back. Although the resort may appear somewhat budget-friendly and resembles a typical one, it's the restaurant that continues to draw us in. I hope they can invest in making the overall place more beautiful and elegant.

Let's start off with their online assistant, they respond after few minutes but at least they answer the queries. As for the rooms, I guess it is alright for a short stay but if you are the picky type who looks forward to an instagramable room, lower your expectations. The pools are alright as well. Especially, the infinity pool having a full view of the beach is definitely the plus factor here. With regard to the free breakfast, be thankful to have one. I was just a bit sad when they brought us the extra mattress worth 800 pesos. I was expecting a good matt but, I was like taken aback. Still, can't complain at least they gave us a decent matt. On one note, I think the management needs to be more strict with their rules. For instance, we had kids (babies) with us. Imagine the horror of being neighbors (other rooms) with singers who prefer to sing their own tunes and even if the curfew was mentioned, they continued their noise. I think they belong to a fraternity because they keep on boasting their frat name and that they can do anything anywhere. Anyways, we mananged to handle the kids and slept soundly with minor sleep interruptions. I cant say that we had a blast in this place but I guess, we were at the right place in the wrong time with the wrong type of neighbors 😊 Overall, Hotel 45 is a recommendable place for a short vacation.

The rooms are simple but nice. The pools are great. The view of the ocean is beautiful. There is no beach, just steps into the water. The sea is a bit rough. It’s near the main town but not quite walking distance. The place looks a little worn down but still a nice place to relax. Food is ok. Father down the coast towards town is where the surfing is located. Hotel staff are cordial and accommodating. There is wifi in every room.

All I can say is that it's not the cleanest. We had certain bad experiences like bad smells at some points during our stay. Staff aren't also the friendliest. The pool was nice though. They have 3 pools so my son still enjoyed it (well, kids). If you're planning on staying the night over, better bring your own toiletries, they also charge for asking a new set of towels. If you're looking for a place to relax I wouldn't really recommend this place as it becomes noisy as people come for a day swim. Thank you for the experience but I'd say I wouldn't recommend nor go back anymore. P.S. It just so happen that the tv isn't working on the room we got so disappointed on that as well.

The location, the friendly and helpful staff, the easygoing vibe, the abundance of shade trees, and the great pools and food would've compelled us to give it 4+ stars, but the lack of cleanliness and poor maintenence of their facilities brought the rating down. Thank God the air con worked well. Overall, we the pros outweighed the cons and we enjoyed our experience at "45" a lot. It's like a gem in need of major polishing, that's all.

I really like this place. We extended our stay another 5 days after an initial 3. Landed here by accident after a terrible experience with the hotel across the street. The bathrooms are a little rough which is my only gripe but they are serviceable. The staff are excellent. Very helpful, kind and accommodating. The atmosphere here is great. Simple, serene, beautiful. Three pools for you to choose from. All well maintained. You can rent kayaks and there is a beach launch but no shoreline. Bar and restaurant on site are good and the free breakfast is basic but good. This isn’t for the 5 star crowd for sure, but if you’re an experienced adventure style traveler I think you’ll love it! I will stay here again for sure, next time we’re in la union/banguan.
